Wa alaikum as salam wa rahmatu-lLahi ta3ala wa barakatuhu.
No, i just love forest, trees, wood, the smells, colours, shapes, all. And i admire the wood craftmanship and above all, oud building with wood. Some great oud builders are (no order) Maurice Shehata (Egypt), Wissam Joubran (Palestine-France), Nazih Ghadban (Lebanon), Faruk Turuntz (Turkey), Jameel (USA), Al tayyar brothers (Canada), Al Haluk (Turkey), Samir Azar (Syria), Khalid Belkhaiba (Maroc) and many many others.

What about gambus (indonesian oud) ? Have you got any ?? There must be ganbus builders sill in Indonesia.

What about indonesian woods for oud building?? Do you know on any good indonesian essence for oud building ??

salam, actually i just recently met a few however i haven't found the craftmenship here to be very good at least with the ouds, but with the traditional gambus i have a few and they are pretty good as soon as i get some pictures I'll post them.
